It is an interesting concept to build a 156-room luxury hotel that revolves around an art museum. The first two floors have 8000 sqft of modern art, in a 24/7 public-access art museum, with the remainder of the floors very stylish hotel rooms. The location is absolutely fantastic and one of the best points the hotel has going for it.
There is a great spa that is a part of the hotel and the hotel has a well-reviewed restaurant, Metropole, that has a wood-fired oven, though we didn't try it.
The 21C hotel company has started opening up more locations around the region. It's a great concept and I was really excited about it. The rooms run from $250 to $450 per night, which is certainly on the higher-end in Cincinnati. Overall, it was a good stay and was worth the experience of doing it once, but ultimately I'll probably try somewhere else when I return since I think a lot of the experience is in the initial uniqueness.
